Qld at the Australian National Powerchair Football Championships
Tom Dickson & Josh Merkas have been selected to represent Queensland at the Australian National Powerchair Football Championships in October and they need your help to get there.
The Australian Powerchair Football Championships will be held in Sydney in October. Tom has been selected to represent Queensland alongside five other players.
Powerchair Football is basically football for athletes in Electric Wheelchairs. It's the fastest growing sport in the world for disability at the moment and the World Cup was recently held in America. If you want to see how Powerchair Football is played, simply type into Youtube – Powerchair Football - there are thousands of videos.
To send Tom, Josh and their carers down it will cost just over $4,500, so this is why he is asking for donations.
If you would like to make a donation, please do so via my donation page below:
If we can raise over $2,500, Tom is going to shave his head or colour his hair. The person with the largest single donation will get to shave Tom's head or choose the colour of the hair.
If you know someone in an electric wheelchair that would like to try powerchair football please contact the Queensland Powerchair Football Association on firstname.lastname@example.org and don’t forget to follow the Queensland Powerchair Football Association on Facebook and Twitter.
