
IT’S finals time and 20 ACE teams are having a most welcome extension to their season.
A few have already started their play-off campaigns – one is already through to their Grand Final. However, most are still preparing for their semi-finals.
Here’s your guide to the ACE teams in finals this year. We congratulate them and wish all, the best of luck.
(Dates, venues and times for most games yet to be released)

ACE Senior Men – Premier League Premiers. 16-match unbeaten run secured the title. Now for a semi-final against Toowong Saturday September 7, at Wolter Park. Bayside and Grange/Taringa in the second semi.

ACE Reserves – Premier League Reserves runners-up. So close to the premiership after a 13-match unbeaten run. Semi-final at premiers Toowong on Sunday September 8. Grange and Taringa in the second semi.

ACE Under 18 Division 2 – Finished runners-up. Lost semi-final at premiers Brighton 3-1. Now face North Star at Wolter Park on Sunday at 3pm for a place in the Grand Final against Brighton.
ACE Men’s Over 45 Division 2 (Social) – Finished fourth. Have semi-final at Yeronga Eagles
ACE Over 35 Men’s Division 4 – Finished fourth. Semi-final at Redcliffe PCYC or North Star.
ACE Over 30 Ladies Red Bears – Premiers. Semi-final at Wolter Park or Brendale.
ACE Under 16 Division 1 Girls – Currently finish second two points ahead of Virginia with one match to go – at Capalaba tomorrow. The Gap are premiers, Olympic are fourth.
ACE Under 15 Division 1 Girls – (pictured above) Premiers, with a stunning record of 12 wins and one draw from 13 games. UQ, Mitchelton and Grange complete the finals quartet.
ACE Under 15 BYPL – Premiers, by three points from UQ with Brisbane Athletic and Lions making up the top four.
ACE Under 15 Division 1 – Guaranteed second, behind leaders Caboolture with one match fixture to go. Newmarket and Lions complete top four.
ACE Under 14 Division 1 – Runners-up, with 12 wins from 17 games, behind premiers Brisbane Athletic with Lions and Bayside in third and fourth.
ACE Under 13 Division 1 Girls – Guaranteed fourth with one match to go after a great seven-match unbeaten run. Taringa, Tarragindi and Virginia took the top three places.
ACE Under 13 BYPL – Finished fourth, set-up by a 10-match unbeaten run early in the season. Join Caboolture, UQ and Peninsula Power in the finals
ACE Under 13 Division 2 – Premiers, beating Caboolture to the title by just two points. ACE only lost one match all season. Taringa and Mitchelton join them in the finals.
ACE Under 13 Division 3 – Premiers – by one point in a close battle with runners-up North Star. Samford and North Lakes finished some way behind in third and fourth.

ACE Under 12 Division 2 Girls – Finished third after a fine season with The Gap and Ipswich taking the top two places, North Lakes were fourth.
ACE Under 12 Division 1 – Premiers having lost only one game and with a seven-point gap to Samford in second. Brisbane City and Mitchelton another seven and eight points adrift.

ACE Under 12 Division 2 Red – Finished third, with 13 wins from 17 games, behind North Pine and UQ. Virginia were fourth, but the finals could be a close contest.
