ACE Football School is back for 2023!
Football School for Terms 2 and 3, 2023 Details
Purpose: To provide an opportunity for those players who are wishing to continue their skills development an avenue to do so in a structured and focussed manner.
Commencement: Week of the 8th May, 2023
Duration: 15 Weeks – 7 weeks in Term 2, 8 weeks in Term 3 (does not run over School Holidays)
Times: Will be 1 hour session – based on 5-6pm and 6-7pm session times, however may vary slightly depending on total numbers in attendance
– U8-9 and Girls Players – Mondays
– U10/11/12 Players – Wednesdays
Location: Brendale – Field 2 (location may vary but will be communicated)
Cost: $125 for all 15 sessions
Includes: Football School Shirt for each player (player size required at registration for ordering)
Session Outline:
Players should arrive 5-10 minutes earlier than their start time, sessions will be an hour long and are structured roughbly as below:
1. Warm-up (15 minutes) – Players begin with getting touches on the ball and practice skills individually in a dedicated space – e.g. toe-taps, basic rolls, triangles, drag-backs etc.
2. Drills & Game Play (3 x 15 minutes) – Players are instructed on various skills as they complete set drills based on the four core skills and conclude with some game play to reinforce this in a game setting.
