ACE Women are looking to make Wolter Park ‘home sweet home’ on Sunday (kick-off 5pm) at the start of three big matches in 11 days.
Caboolture are the visitors this weekend in a fixture which restarts our Capital League 1 program after the six-week break.
ACE are up to third after four wins and two draws in their last six games. Caboolture are seventh after one win, a draw (3-3 with ACE) from their last six.
“We know Caboolture will try and make it very difficult on Sunday,” ACE coach Jamie Sanckson says.

“They are usually well organised and hard to break down, and we are expecting that again this week.
“Having said that the girls are confident at the moment, we’re on a good run of form and there’s a real good feel around the squad.”
ACE have scored 23 goals in their last six games, including four in each of their last two victories, over Pine Hill and Toowong.
That tally includes 13 different scorers with Morgan-Lee Martin (5), Chloe Globke (4) and Morgan Schoener (3) leading the way.
“The girls are focussed and know we just need to keep getting results,” Jamie says, “they looked after themselves well during the lockdown.
“I set them a few tasks to do to keep ticking over and I know the majority of them do their own stuff anyway, so I was happy with how they’ve returned to training.”
North Brisbane – currently in fourth place, just one point behind ACE – visit Wolter Park next Sunday (September 5, kick-off 6pm).
And then it’s Broadbeach United, the Brisbane Women’s Premier League leaders, in the Elaine Watson Cup semi-final on September 8 (kick-off 7.30pm).
ACE Reserves, seventh on their ladder, take on Caboolture Reserves at Wolter Park at 3pm on Sunday looking to build on a win and draw from their last two games.
