ACE Senior Women’s team, for 2020.
JAMIE Sanckson has revealed his “goals and vision” for the ACE Senior Women after being reappointed as head coach for 2020.
It will be Jamie’s second season in charge of our top women’s team, which finished seventh in Capital League 1 this year.
“We are delighted to have Jamie back and continue the work he has done this year,” ACE Senior Vice-President Greg Bradley said. “We believe his early appointment will help us set up to have a successful year.”
The regular season may have finished less than two weeks ago, but coach Jamie has already been working on next year’s challenges.
“I’m really happy and excited to be back with ACE in 2020 and continue to help build a culture for women’s football at a great club,” he said.

“We’ve made contact with several players to strengthen the squad for next season and add some depth to the side.
“I’m looking forward to working with a good core group we had last year and adding a few new faces to the mix.”
Despite finishing mid-table Jamie said ACE “showed some great signs at times” last season and he’s “sure we can build on that”.
“We had an improvement on 2018 and we will be looking to improve once more,” he said.
“My overall goal and vision for this club is for our senior women to eventually be a competitor in the BWPL – and offer all our fantastic juniors a pathway to play senior football at ACE.
“We play a good brand of football and I’m confident in what we do. So long as we keep working hard the results will come.
“Now I’m just looking forward to getting started and building for a successful 2020.”
