THE ACE Kindy program has a new sponsor – Ambrose Homes.
Owner and managing director Lee Ambrose, whose sons Will (Under 6) and Vince (Kindy) both play for ACE, said it is the company’s first major sponsorship.
“We came down to check out the kindy kids and have been absolutely blown away about how good the program is and how well it is run,” he said.
“My kids are young and we’re new to the area. Being so involved in soccer in my life I wanted my kids to be involved through their lives as well.
“I thought this was a good place to start and hopefully we can take the link between Ambrose Homes and ACE through for a long time.”
Ambrose Homes is a luxury home building and renovations company covering the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and up to Gympie.
Lee said Ambrose Homes builds custom homes, specialising in those in the $500,000-$700,000 range.
“We design and construct in-house and have been going for six years,” he said.
“The first three years we were slowly growing, doing a couple of homes a year. Now we’re doing 12-15 homes and next year will look to do more than that.
“This is our first real sponsorship and hopefully we’ll be invested in ACE for many years to come.”
Lee is Gympie “born and bred”. He played representative football but insisted he was “never really, really good”.
However, his sister did play for the state and his father still coaches football in Gympie. “He just loves it,” said Lee.
